What Happened

This administrator asked Microsoft Copilot how to set up an SPF record. Copilot gave them the correct answer (`v=spf1 include:_spf.google.com ~all`). Instead of copying the answer, they copied the URL of their private AI chat session — complete with a `#:~:text=` text-fragment URL highlighting the exact answer — and pasted that into their DNS. The Copilot session ID is now permanently baked into global DNS. A perfect fossil record of the AI era.
